Ahh… Thanksgiving. The time of year when we gather relatives from near and far, count our blessings together, and drink heavily to cope with the madness of it all.
Or maybe that’s just me.
Because I’m not the master chef of the family, I try to stick to what I know when contributing to the holiday feast, and that is: A THANKSGIVING COCKTAIL.
A good cocktail line-up keeps the conversation flowing and the guests happy. (Even when the dreaded political commentary starts. Ugh!)
Add a seasonal twist to your cocktail station with these delicious options…
5 Scrumptious Thanksgiving Cocktail Recipes
1. Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Using Coffee-Mate® to create a seasonal White Russian is genius. (Not to mention scrumptious.) I’m 100% on board with this creative concoction from The Kitchen is My Playground!
2. Cranberry Margaritas
Let’s be honest, shall we? No one ever gorges themselves with cranberries at Thanksgiving. Those poor, neglected fruits can’t compete with Mom’s stuffing. Amiright? This year give your guests something to really fight about by serving up pitchers of refreshing Cranberry Margaritas from Gimme Some Oven.
3. The Frozen Turkey
You want a decadent cocktail? I’ll give you decadent cocktail. (And then some!) In fact, this adult milkshake from The View From Great Island just might replace Aunt Jean’s pumpkin pie this holiday. Mmm…
4. Apple Cider Mimosas
I. Love. Mimosas. Any flavor, any time, I’m pretty much on board with mimosa sipping. I’m pretty sure that mimosas were created as an excuse to start drinking early in the day. (Because, of course.) And if there’s any day where I need to drink early, it’s Thanksgiving! #toomuchfamilytime
These apple cider mimosas from The Cookie Rookie are to die for!
5. White Chocolate Pumpkin Nog
I don’t even know what to say about this cocktail except GET IT IN MY BELLY. A few minutes in the blender and this recipe from Kitchen Meets Girl will keep a smile on your face the entire holiday. (And it’s guilt free!)
